How we conduct ourselves

Our seven Patriot Values are the cornerstone of our success. They govern how we work with clients, with teaming partners, and with each other, and they spell what we were before we were a company. We have written each one plainly enough that you can hold us to it.

The seven Patriot Values

Read down the first letters.

  • Partnership

We join your team rather than sell against it. In practice that means telling you when the work you asked us to quote is larger than the work you actually need, and quoting the smaller one. It also means being a straightforward subcontractor: we integrate into someone else’s program without competing for the customer relationship.

  • Agility

New capability moves through 30, 60 and 90-day build phases with a senior review gate at each one, so a requirement that lands in January is a delivered capability in weeks rather than quarters. If your requirement changes mid-engagement we re-scope against it, rather than finishing the thing you have stopped needing.

  • Trust

Assessment work means holding the most complete map of your weaknesses that exists anywhere, including inside your own organization. We treat that as the liability it is: minimum necessary access, encrypted at rest and in transit, and destroyed on the schedule written into your engagement terms.

  • Reliability

The date we commit to is the date you get it. When something is going to slip you hear it while there is still time to manage it, not in the delivery meeting. Cleared, credentialed people stay on the engagement they were named to.

  • Integrity

We report what we found. We do not soften a finding because it is awkward for whoever commissioned the assessment, and we do not inflate a severity rating to justify a fee. If your defenses held, the report says they held. We will also tell you when an engagement is outside our competence, and you will hear it before the contract rather than after.

  • Outcomes

We are measured by what changed, not by page count. Every engagement closes against the question it opened with, answered in language an executive can act on without a translator. Where we use a term of art, we define it the first time it appears.

  • Teamwork

When a phishing test or a physical assessment succeeds, the finding is about the process that allowed it, never about the individual who was standing there. We write reports that way, and we say so to your staff before the engagement starts.

Where these come from

These are the seven values we publish in our capability statement. The paragraph under each one says how we apply it, so you have something concrete to hold us to rather than a single word.

Hold us to these

If an engagement with us falls short of any of the seven, say so on the contact form and mark it for the founders. It reaches them directly.
