Small, senior, and deliberately so

Swif7Edge, LLC is a veteran-owned small business founded by U.S. Army veterans. We deliver proactive cybersecurity, predictive analytics, and AI integration to government and commercial partners, and the people who scope your engagement are the people who run it.

What we do

We test systems the way an adversary would, defend what the testing exposes, and produce the evidence a contract or a regulator asks for. Those three things are run by the same team against the same threat model, which is the whole argument for using one firm rather than three.

The practice combines offensive security, managed defense, compliance readiness, and AI work. Our founders bring deep experience from the Intelligence Community, the Department of Defense, and Fortune 500 operations, including policy, strategy, and large-scale program delivery.

How we work

We scope before we quote, and we do not resell security products, so a recommendation to configure what you already own properly is a perfectly normal outcome of an engagement with us.

We also do not soften findings because they are uncomfortable for whoever commissioned the work, and we do not inflate severity to justify an invoice. Both are common in this industry and both destroy the value of the exercise.

What we build the practice around

Three commitments that show up in how engagements actually run.

Offense-informed defense

The people who run our red team engagements write our detection content. Defensive recommendations come from having taken the path rather than from a vendor datasheet.

Evidence over assertion

We publish registrations, certifications and named methodologies because those are checkable. We do not publish client logos or case studies, because most of the work is under non-disclosure and a small firm claiming logos it cannot substantiate is making a claim it cannot stand behind.

Scope before cost

Almost every expensive security program we are asked to rescue was scoped badly at the start. We spend the first part of an engagement on boundaries, which is the cheapest hour you will spend.

Patriot Values

Seven of them, one for each letter. They are the cornerstone of how we work, and each is written plainly enough that you can hold us to it.

  • Partnership

We join your team rather than sell against it, which includes telling you when the work you asked us to quote is larger than the work you actually need.

  • Agility

New capability moves through 30, 60 and 90-day build phases with a senior review gate at each one, and we re-scope when your requirement changes mid-engagement.

  • Trust

Assessment work means holding the most complete map of your weaknesses that exists anywhere. We treat it as the liability it is: minimum necessary access, encrypted, and destroyed on the schedule written into your engagement terms.

  • Reliability

The date we commit to is the date you get it, and when something is going to slip you hear it while there is still time to manage it.

  • Integrity

We report what we found. We do not soften a finding because it is awkward for whoever commissioned the work, and we do not inflate a severity rating to justify a fee.

  • Outcomes

We are measured by what changed, not by page count. Every engagement closes against the question it opened with.

  • Teamwork

When a phishing test or a physical assessment succeeds, the finding is about the process that allowed it, never about the individual who was standing there.

The longer form of each commitment

Who performs the work

Swif7Edge is small on purpose. The people who scope your engagement are the people who run it.

Our practice was founded by U.S. Army veterans. The security side is led by a combat veteran and former NSA contractor with 26 years in security engineering, who has built and led teams of more than 130 engineers, stood up global security operations centers, and directed offensive security work for the Defense Intelligence Agency, the FBI, and the U.S. Marine Corps.

That background is company-stated. Specific engagements are covered by non-disclosure terms and in most cases by the sensitivity of the work itself, so we do not detail them publicly. We will substantiate it directly during a procurement, with references and whatever contract detail can be released.

The strategy side brings more than 20 years across the Intelligence Community, the Department of Defense, and Fortune 500 operations, managing portfolios above $150 million and cross-functional teams of up to 2,500 personnel.

Why there is no logo wall here

We do not publish client names, logos, or case studies. The work is mostly covered by non-disclosure terms, and a small firm that lists logos it cannot substantiate is making a claim it cannot stand behind. The certifications and registrations above are independently checkable, and the methodologies on each service page are named rather than described. Everything we say about our own history is company-stated and we label it that way.

Work out whether we fit

A scoping call costs you thirty minutes and tells you more than any capability deck.
